my plan to take my AZ kids (12/15) to montreal to fulfill a dream for all of us to watch a game is being developed.
I think I want the Jan. 4 game against Pittsburgh.
I signed up with the club for getting single game tickets. Is it realistic to get tickets this way? and what am I expecting to pay for good seats in lower bowl.?

You're signed up for the Club, so you can easily get tickets this way. The date will be announced for tickets to go on sale and you can enter a virtual waiting room on that date. Your turn to purchase will be randomly determined, so it's possible the section you have in mind may not be available.

I have always been able to get tickets for games I wanted to attend. I have been lucky enough to get seats six rows off the ice and I have also been in the last row. No matter where I've sat, I always had a good view of the game.

Does anyone here know when passes/tickets for the 2020 draft go on sale??

Myself, and a few friends, booked our hotel and flights for the draft and really wanna make sure we get passes/tickets. I'm not sure if it is the kinda thing that sells out fast, or what is all included, etc.

Any information anyone has would be greatly appreciated.

Planning a trip to Montreal to catch a game. I’ve never been there before and I’m wondering where the best seats are in the building and around what price

Been in the area the past couple days. Gorgeous city but OMG the traffic.

Yeah between corruption and coming off the worst winter in history (in terme of thaw/freezing) the roads have never been worse and consequently tons of them being closed off to be reworked.

Center ice and around 10 rows up are pretty choice seats. Price varies though, depending if a weekend game, optimum game. 3 price ranges for the same seat, crazy! never a fan of that MO. Price would be between 2-4 unless a spike happens again.

Old school Hartford Whaler fan coming into town to see the Canadiens play at home for the first time Oct 12th. Any recommendations for a place to stay? We are there for 3 nights. Looking to go to the game Saturday and explore. Love good food and good drinks.

Personally, I'd recommend Novotel Downtown. Easy access to Centre Bell, nightlife, decent price, good accommodations, and you tend to not get the loud, drunken 18-20 year-olds visiting from the States.

A lot of options, always dependent on budget of course and criteria. Can always stay and eat cheap or go big,all on you.

I guess i missed the email for buying the single game tickets.
Looking at stubhub right now. a little pricey but we really want to do this. My AZ kids are Montreal fans and have never been to the city.
we are planning Jan 4 against the Pens.
Can we trust Stub Hub for Montreal. I use it all the time here in AZ.
And i plan on using AirBnb for accomdations.
thank you

EDIT: is it worth the trip to quebec city to go to that winter tubing place? its a three hour drive up.

Can anybody recommend a good bar near downtown area to watch preseason games? I would like to watch the NYR/NJD game tonight as well as the other . I'm visiting from the ny area.

Also, can anybody recommend a bar / pub with good drink specials for a friday night?

Village des Sports is fun but if you head to QC you should also check out the touristy stuff downtown.

Pub St-Gab, 2 min up the road from the tubing is also worth a visit. The food was great when I went this summer.

Hi all. I'm excited to be visiting for the 11/9 game, hear such amazing things about Montreal and really appreciate all the info in this thread.

Quick question. Has anyone done the VIP tour, is it worth it? What language is it in?

Just wanted to say thanks a lot for this thread.

The wife and I spent a long week in Montreal in early September and loved every minute of it. We'd never been to Canada before and this was our chosen destination. Loved Schwartz's, loved St. Denis, Marche Jean Talon, hated the roadwork. The people were very kind and we learned a nice amount of French in response. We actually won at the casino and learned a lot at the science museum. The all-seeing dragon stole the day.

We stayed at the AC hotel downtown, and while we rented a car, it was unnecessary. The metro and walking options were fantastic.
Saw Hot Chip at Mtelus and it was great. Hiked all over Mont Royal and it was beautiful. Had my first(and second) Beaver Tail. Wore my Bolts jersey all over Ottawa on a day trip lol, and just loved your country all the way around.

So I guess I wanted to say more than just thanks.
Go Habs and go Bolts.
