I think your answers are probably the safest ones, Holl probably easier to move...Kerfoot opens up more room.

With Muzzin out and Sandin unsigned can't see them moving Holl first.
Although with Tavares out Kerfoot is probably safe for a bit as well.

I just think he'll get more chances in an attempt to justify the trade. So it's more likely that he takes the reins.

With JT out to start the year, they're going to want to be sure no one else gets hurt for a while. Simmonds isn't great at hockey, but sitting on the bench means we won't see as many slew foots and bad cross checks. That's my thinking.

C) Sandin

Bye bye. Just like Dermott, he won't be missed. For a team determined to win now, there's no reason to pander to him by giving him a roster spot.

1) C - Both have been "the guy", yet both come with question marks. Sounds like a tandem to me.
2) B - Seems important enough to warrant some security there.
3) A - Not necessarily surprising IMO (you said "roster" and not "lineup", no?)
4) F? - No clue. Kerfoot became more valuable at C today, and Liljegren and Sandin are/may be
out for a bit (increasing Holl's value to the team).
