Take offensive linemen with every pick next draft. Jesus

They should, but it wont really matter.

Ironically enough, they chose the worst possible time to finally rebuild their defense back to elite status.

By the time they accomplished that, Ben is looking like he should retire behind this o-line which won't be better until years of drafting replacements, will carry a 40 mil cap hit next year causing crucial losses in free agency, and no franchise QB replacement anywhere on the horizon considering they'd need to tank for once to actually get one, and Tomlin will never let that happen under his watch to preserve his legacy.

By the time they find a real future QB and rebuild the offense, this defense will be long gone.

It's actually kind of funny looking back on everything now how unfortunate the timing of everything happening really was.

Still surprised of results but that team was lucky to be 11-0 and Ben seemed ou of sync a few times in that stretch anyway

Winning the division after starting 11-0 seems like a stretch at this point, let alone even being competitive in a playoff game.
How many teams did this team convincingly beat like a true contender? Maybe a couple? This was the test of can the steelers just blow a terrible team up and show the world their offense isn't sputtering?

They replied with no.

I really want to here people defend Tomlin and this team if after going 11-0, they lose our, lose the division, and are one in done in the playoffs. Short of them losing Ben at the end of that 11th win, there is absolutely no excuse. Even in that hypothetical situation there would be absolutely no excuse for not winning at least one more game.

I can't believe I got suckered in this year. No reason for this team not to score 28 every single game or more. You understand on the defensive side with injuries. Even bad teams are going to score.

Oh well, I tried to be positive about the rest of the regular season and give Tomlin some credit for being a good coach.

Maybe he’s using reverse psychology on the league so they can finally fool everyone and win in the playoffs.

... or maybe Andy is right and it will be three December collapses in a row because Tomlin is Tomlin.

Dan Bylsma is the white Mike Tomlin.
Mike Tomlin is black Dan Byslma.
Both won with other people's roster, both are stubborn, blind morons that got figured out quickly, both fold faster then Superman on laundry day at the slightest hint of pressure, both have their boys club that are above criticism/he'll never bench to send a message; that message being "GET WITH THE f***ING PROGRAM!" , both would rather lose their way then change one little thing and win. f*** both of these walrus wankers.

Both QBs sucked at throwing the football.

One of the teams had Gio Bernard and the other did not. And one of the teams had a QB with a 4.9 40. The other had a QB with a 6.4 40.

Juju's dancing, Tomlin yada yada. Better offensive line and a non-statue QB won that game.

Remember, the collapse over the last three weeks is because of that fat f***ing sonofabitch Ben and nothing else. Get rid of that 2 ton slug, piece of shit and this offense will thrive. He’s literally weighing down the team and dragging down Tomlin’s illustrious winning percentage.

other teams have this problem too...that’s why it’s called coaching and scheming...put the lesser talent in positions to succeed...

You left out the most important part though...

Only one of these guys works for a Rooney.

On the positive side of all this, Steelers are still in the playoffs, so don’t be so glum everyone!

This collapse is disturbing. Yes injuries happen but we have all the top players healthy (Ben, Watt, Heyward, Minkah).
I don't know what's wrong but the offense needs a full make over.

I don't think Tomlin is great by any means.

But Ben has been exposed as a bottom-5 starting NFL QB after the quick-hitter offense was exposed. And before you talk about Fichtner...Ben is responsible for Fichtner's employment. Don't wanna f****g hear it.

Just run air raid and let Ben call a bunch of audibles at the line. They have a bunch of agile receivers, no line, and no running backs. It is the only answer.

Fichtner calling plays shouldn’t be happening at all...this guy should not have a NFL job

Has a team ever fail to win their division after a 11-0 start I wonder? Tomlin failed to get the team in the playoffs after a 7-2-1 start and he has a chance to once again put his name in the history books. Impressive.
