They needed a center. There’s a million WRs available. They could trade back into round 2 if they wanted.
They won’t lol…I mean he’s a real good player..I’m not disappointed in him but I’d like to see them go after first round grade, players who were falling

It’s a great pick Andy. We’ve seen what having skill and no line has done for years. Gotta build from the trenches and now, in theory, we should have a very good young one for a while.
Still need skill players and a CB to start at nickel…gonna be tough

I like the pick.

  • Fills a glaring need despite center not being a crucial position, a bad one hurts the whole line.
  • Apparently he's a high character guy, which this board specificallly has long criticized this team for having poor characters on the roster.
  • Mitchell must be dropping for a reason if this many teams have passed on him, I don't know any better than they do so I won't be upset they passed on him too.
  • Interesting what they cook up in potential trades for a receiver if they still feel they need one.

So no trade is happening…I guess the Steelers will be having tryouts for WR2….maybe someone on this board could sign up

Well there we go. Line’s set. Frazier is definitely a good pick. I don’t think he’ll be elite or anything but should be way better than we’ve seen for a while.

Feel like they passed on a potential stud in Mitchell but they backed themselves into a corner at center.
