I get the sentiment. BUT, they weren't bad enough with Ben out to be a top five pick team. Not with Miami, NYJ, Cincy, Wash, NYG, and a couple of others.

this game just highlights why the Steelers aren’t a contender, let alone a PO team..it just maintains the illusion for a few more games as well as secure Tomlin another season

Still loving Minkah, though. He was out to lunch on one TD, but he’s been a blessing.

but we already knew that tomlin was going to get another year because of the given excuse on Ben being out for the season

unless the Redskins are serious about wanting him... ill come down to the burgh and drive him to the airport if thats the case

The Steelers are probably going to have a mid 1st rounder this year, just because of how easy their schedule is. This year was a good year to trade the 1st, because even without Ben they'll be getting wins.

But they could also with how incompetent the coaching staff is throw games and not be seen as throwing games.

Every game is going to be a flip of the coin save about 4/5 games.

Its not about them being good, it’s about clawing and scratching for wins so the Dolphins don’t get a great pick.

This team has ****ing Tomlin as coach, it will never be good... just smoke and mirrors with Jackie Chiles, the Podium Champion.

I don’t mind the first being traded away but I’ll be surprised if we make the post season and even more surprised if we get out of the first round.

Hes here for 3 more years at least while on his rookie deal. And for sure will be worth being reupped after. Could have landed our next Polamalu. That was well worth it.

Looking at this upcoming draft...theres nobody even close to as good as him where we would have picked. For the secondary that is. And everytime we try we end up with a Burns or Edmunds(still waiting for him to make plays ...especially being surrounded by so much talent...yeah he can improve but same draft as Fitz so that tells you what you need to know about how much of a drop in talent there is from the top to end of first for DBs).

Theres plenty of WRs and OL in this draft...we need both. Should be able to get ij 2nd round. Or trade next years first to move up...keep being aggressive. We will get a few 3rd round comps for 2021 anyway. Can afford to do that.

And this game really showed how good Tuitt is compared to Heyward. Maybe just age but Cam never really stepped up for us in playoffs. He didnt make this much of a diff. Huge dropoff in run D without Tuitt. After completely stopping the Ravens and Chargers. Lamar Jackson didn't run on us nor did Ingram. And Austin Ekeler was great for Chargers on the ground and out of backfield that we shut down.

Biggest diff is how much better Bush was when Tuitt was in there. He hasnt made a big play since. He wasnt bad in coverage , and still a rookie of course, just saying it shows how important Tuitt is. I was wrong about thinking we should be looking to replace him due to that contract. And with injury history. But ill take that risk, keep him and just dont reup Heyward in few years(gonna have to re-sign Watt, and others by then).

Also didn't like Hargrave these last two games. Whether its because he hasnt been given the chance to get more snaps without those 2 next to him or not..IDK but hes gonna be a FA at end of season and fine with that if hes offered a big contract. We def need to draft a DE next year. Theres some good ones for sure.

Better than life as a Browns fan... sometimes our spoiled fans forget how lucky we have been, despite being stuck with Tomlin.

This org knows how to do a ton right, aside from hanging on to a bad coach too long.
