how did Staal look, by the way?

I'm fairly surprised they're keeping him up...are they going to send him down after 10 games?

he had an alright camp, but not good enough to make it worth carrying him in the NHL this year.

Unfortunatly he's a victum of that CHL/AHL rule, and had to be sent back to Sudbury. The AHL would be the perfect place for him right now, as he needs to adapt to the pro game. Going back to Sudbury really isn't going to do him much good right now...

Tonight Anze Kopitar and Patrick O'Sullivan should be making their NHL debuts for the Kings against the Ducks.

what up with latendresse. just about every habs fan out there said he was a lock for the top 2 lines. and he is yet to play 10 min in one game. you havent overrated him have you. you dont usually do that with your prospects:sarcasm: :biglaugh:

Eh, ok...I think you're dreaming because nobody said that Latendresse would be a lock for the top two line. In fact, we knew since he signed his contract that he would be on the fourth line.

He's learning right now and will not make an impact for a couple of weeks...we have to give him time right now and Carbo knows how to handle him.

And BTW, why are you bashing every Habs prospect...are you jaleous or what???

Good thread - can I suggest the top post is edited to include all the debutants? It'd be interesting to scan through in one go, instead of having to read every post..

Cheers :) Looks like Keith Yandle will be making his debut on Wednesday after Keith Ballard was injured last night.

I'm reasonably certain Luc Bourdon is making his NHL debut against Minnesota tonight, but I'll wait for confirmation.

Edit - Confirmed by Canucks radio.
