A major where one is not warranted is attempting to influence the game - so yeah influence/fix same thing. They knew exactly what they were doing. Stop being a moron. Quiet already.
Childish argument? Every analyst agrees that the refs acted on the result and not the action. It’s reprehensible.

It didn't get really out of hand until the refs through on Sharks jerseys and scored those 4 goals in 4 minutes. That one ref has a mean wrist shot.

Don’t discount that SJ was on home ice. I can guarantee if theirs scenario played out in Vegas, 4 goals weren’t being scored. Momentum is a thing in sports. Look it up.
Edit to add a major wouldn’t have been called in Vegas since the crowd wouldn’t have thrown things on the ice. Forgot the refs were influenced by that too - how professional.

Instead of making majors reviewable, and all the delays this would bring, why not just have majors work like minors, and stop them after a team scored a goal? Why is it this way in the first place? The NHL should work to lessen referees' impact on the game, instead of introducing constant reviews.

We've hit the limit on this thread, and as most of the discussion in here was more appropriately a topic for the Vegas-San Jose post-series thread, it can continue there.
