Whatcha cook them in? We normally do a white wine, garlic and butter sauce but a god tier sub is a good wheat beer.
Exactly that. Wine, butter, garlic, a little chicken stock because the clams were a bit more than she estimated when getting the pan. Tasted great, but was a mini disaster because I'm a moron and totally screwed up the process. I know better, but totally spaced. The chicken suffered the most, but whatevs. The broth was great. We saved it to make some clams linguini tomorrow :)

Ridiculously good and ridiculously simple.

Infuse some evoo with crushed garlic.
Brown off Italian sausage.
De-glaze with white wine.
Add cream and simmer until thickened.
Finish the pasta in the sauce for a couple of minutes, adding pasta water occasionally to thin out.
Kill heat and stir in pecorino for cheese.
Eat until you hate yourself.

Have lost 15 lbs since Jan 1st by eating better, not as many chips, and started walking 30 mins+ most days, weather permitting. Currently at my lowest weight in a decade. Lose another 5 and I will be at my lowest in 20 years. So that's the goal.

Protein snack...Greek yogurt blended with blueberries and protein powder, spread over sliced bananas, topped with pumpkin seeds, almond slices, granola and a few chocolate chips. Then put in freezer and once frozen, cut up into pieces. Did a full cookie sheet, but here is a sample.

Egg bites...have onions and peppers, a few slices of tortilla, and some have a few slices of pork chop, others salmon.

Screw planks.... I used to do a 3 minute plank easily then I hurt my shoulder doing pushups with a basketball under each shoulder while in the gym with a personal trainer. I went back to the gym after recovery and did a boot camp. New trainer says to me I don't want you doing over 1 minute since it's your first day back and after a minute I'll be adding weight on the backs of those still up. I said to myself "screw that I need to know I'm good." 3 minutes in and 20 lbs on my back she walks up and says you are done. I laugh and gave in.
