As of now there are six teams that are in the POs-Rangers, Bruins, Hurricanes; Panthers, Maple Leafs and Lightning.
There are seven teams looking for the last two spots. Isles(77 GP/85Pts); Detroit((77/84); Pitt(77/83); Phi(78/83); Washington(76/82); Buffalo(78/79) and NJ(77/78).
The schedules are:

Who gets the last two slots?

I think the Penguins, on balance, are the best team of those...

and in turn I would bet on them.

I mean, heck, Penguins are 6th in the NHL in all situation xGF%.

2nd spot is a toss-up. Isles, Red Wings and Caps are all basically the same level. I would bet on Isles if had to call it but who knows.
