You can't tease the fans and then pull away the finals. Thats is much worse than cancelling a whole season.

that was a strike not a lockout though. Also, what was the main issue in 94? Same issues as 02 right?

I'm sorry, but if the players, and the PA leadership can't see that they've lost this battle, then god help fans of hockey everywhere, because we may not see NHL hockey for a while.

And European hockey fans should worry because...? It's not like the NHL is a big thing here anyway, the games aren't even on tv (unless your willing to pay for Canal +).
