Nice story. Thanks for posting. Some folks will gripe and say that the Avs are separate from the Nordiques, given that they do not honor retired jerseys and the like. Which is why Paul wore #26 just like his dad. But not everyone feels that way.

Interesting tidbit you may want to add, Peter held the franchise record for rookie scoring streak (16 games) broken by Paul, who extended it to break the NHL record as well (20).
