The suspension I want to see is Hedman for spearing Nico in the balls. Seriously. Marchand got suspended several games for the same thing about a year ago. And I think they might have dinged Draisaitl for a game for it last year too. Hedman deserves it. That's a totally uncool play.

Am I the only one who thought Hall got up from that scrum in the corner and around our goal, on our power play when they attacked short handed, looking less than 100%? He might have been just gassed but he might have got hurt. Even on the break where he fed Noesen for the game winner, he didn't look to me like he was skating as freely as I've seen him.

Our special teams need to be better. If they are, we can really extend this series, maybe even win it.

I thought the same thing. He looked like he was struggling. Hopefully he was just gassed.

So happy for Cory and even more happy for Hall. This is so much fun and I completely forgot how stressful these games are.

Chico was going ape sh!t crazy on the calls on the radio cause I was listening to the post game on the way home. I love that man.

Noesen's had a bunch of later 3rd period game winners this year. The Anaheim game, the Carolina game a few weeks back, tonight. He scored the game winner against the Pens in February in Pittsburgh, but I think that game winner was in the first half of the 3rd period and not in the last several minutes like some of the others.

Thoughts...

- Who knew Hedman was a cheap shot whiner? He's obviously elite, but what an a-hole.
- I think Sergachev knew exactly what he was doing. The elbow was tucked but ready to hit. The puck was going to his left and he skates right? His focus was Coleman. Dirtbag. He also tried to drop a knee on Boyle.
- I've been very critical of Boyle, but I thought he had a good game.
- Stafford with a couple good chances...and a couple whiffs as usual.
- MoJo had a nice first game back. I really appreciated his board work on the PP.
- Zacha...where have you gone my son?
- Butcher is such a crazy high IQ player. I cannot wait to see his game improve over the years.
- Did Miles sit the entire 3rd? 5 minutes of TOI...
- What a return from Cory!
- Seeing Point creating havoc sucks. 79th, 3rd round...Devils took Connor Chatham in the third and Josh Jacobs in the 2nd...GRRR

Yeah they were talking about how the refs missed that one but to be fair a lot of people in the rows around me missed it as well. I hope he gets a game suspension.

Guys have been suspended for this exact same play. But I'm going to say nothing will happen to Hedman because he's a star.

It stinks, but that's how the NHL works. If any other Tampa defenseman did that, it would be more likely to result in a suspension, but I just dont think the NHL will suspend Hedman.

First off the atmosphere at the Rock was amazing. My wifes first playoff game and she was screaming at ice.

I nearly lost my **** on the too many man on the ice call because i thought they missed it, similar to Hall (i think) going nuts over they their bench.

I missed this spear on Nico just say him yelling at Hedman.

I did see both Stamkos and Kucherov go after Coleman at one point. I think he is getting under their skin along with some other guys. Thats what needs to happen. These guys need to finish checks and piss these guys off.

The PK NEEDS to be better!

Yeah, there's no reason to bend your body INTO Coleman unless you're trying to squash his mellon.

I originally thought there'd not be a suspension on this, now I'm thinking it's 50:50.

This lightning team seems like they can distracted from their game if you get under their skin, which the devils have figured out how to do. All they have to do is keep at it, play their speed game and hope Tampa can't stay disciplined. Tampa kind of reminds me of the pre- Kessel Penguins. Remember how Philly absolutely got into their heads a few years back and bounced them out in like 5 games? That's the template we need to employ lol

Chico leading the opening cheers was the best part of the intro. It was actually kind of a dissapointment compared to 2012 though I did like that initial bit with listing the division/conference/cup years and you can't really go wrong with Dano but it didn't do all that much for me tbh.
