AHHHH, skeletons!!!!!

I really hope we get Myers. He is the epitome of inconsistency, but he's listed as only 1 inch shorter than Chara, and that alone makes him worth it to me. Plus, because of his inconsistency in Buffalo, he would probably get thrown into a bundle no problem.

Only way I would want Myers is if we had a deal with Detroit or another team who has interest in him to flip right away for a middle 6 forward.

I could see Buffalo parting with some key players, in return for Kane. It would also help them tank, and end the season in dead last. It would be the second time in franchise history the Jets have been a beneficiary of a tank. The Penguins sent us Carlyle for next to nothing in 1984, in order to finish behind New Jersey, and draft Lemieux.

Makes sense to trade with Sabres. They have lots of interesting players. Plus, send Kane to the east!

I like the idea of Kane in Buffalo.

1. Eastern team, don't have to face that tenacious forecheck
2. Smaller market city - like Wpg
3. Cold climate city - like Wpg
4. Knowledgeable and passionate hockey fan base - like Wpg

So essentially:

Kane for Stafford, Armia, and a 1st
Bogo for Myers and Lemieux

Interesting. Would hate to see Bogo go, but that's quote the return. Short term help, and longer term pieces and a valuable pick.

Agreed, his hockey play is so so but his physical strength is going to be hard to replace.
