He was never going to do it but how did Steen's streak look like a few years back after 25ish games? If I remember correctly it was goal centric.

John Tavares has 7 goals in his last 4 games so he will shatter 50 in 50 !

Kucherov has been very impressive. The way he and Stamkos are going, although i don't think he'll come close to 50 in 50, I think he could do 35 in 50 without a doubt, which would be a 57 goal pace. Will he be the first 60 goal scorer since his own teammate Stamkos in 11-12? He'd need 48 goals in his next 70 games (he had 40 total in 74 last year w/o Stamkos.)

Most likely not unless his shot generation goes up. Now with the amount of shots he's averaging right now, if he shoots at 15.1% (his career average) for the next 70 games he'll hit 52-53 goals. So 50 goals seems doable.

Good point. He's currently at about 4 SOG per game (46 in 12) which is above his career average. With that, I think somewhere between 3 and 4 is reasonable for the remainder of the year. He is at 15% for his career, but is at 26% this year and was 16.3% last year. Given his linemates, I'd expect a S% greater than his career average is possible. Let's see he can average 4 SOG/GP with a 17% shooting%, that would give him exactly 47.6 goals in his final 70 games.

Will be tough, no doubt, but if eh can shoot 17% the rest of the way at 4 SOG per game, he'll get 60. He'll still get 50 if he falls closer to 3 SOG per game and 15%, which is pretty remarkable and impressive.
