Of course, you must have gotten a look at her and reasoned that calicos are rarely male.

On a hockey-er note, which 2 of Abel, Lindsay, Potvin, Fetisov or Clarke doesn't get a letter? Abel seems the obvious cut, but it's really hard after that!

My first thought was Fetisov. Not that he isn’t also deserving, but Clarke - Lindsay - Potvin looks like a pretty good leadership trio to me.

I’m still debating between Beliveau and Messier for captain. Bourque has an A for sure.

Messier is Messier and an ultimate leader, but I have Beliveau with the C in my roster post right now. Beliveau just feels like the right call, maybe it’s the Habs fan in me.

Merry Christmas everyone!

In the spirit of peace on earth and goodwill to man, I'm going to use a 60s pick on a player most of us over here didn't even get to see until 1972, 10 years into his men's league career (and he started in the top Soviet league in 1965).

Boris Mikhailov!

And now for a real Christmas miracle. A saviour comes from the most humble of places. Percy Leseur (00s) is the 4th goalie taken in an all time draft, after Roy, Hasek and Plante and before a bunch of unmentionables.

Yeah it's weird. Yeah it makes total sense for my needs in this format.

I hope everyone's having a wonderful day.

Well Ted came first and now Leseur is the 5th goalie.
Still ahead of all the usual suspects for the 4th best goalie ever.

Good picks everyone. With that, I have 3 unscoopable picks to end the draft (60s, 80s, 90s).

Which one should I take on the second-last day?

My 20s pick is Hooley Smith.
That's the guy I want, but I know Ted will be gunning for him. If Ted gets here and takes him first, I have a backup pick for the same role.
If not, sorry Ted.
My other pick comes later today.

Was going to wait a little to have something happen here in the afternoon when not much is going on, but I see that it's very late where VanIslander is, so I'll take Henri Richard to complete this gritty bottom six:

Abel - Lalonde - Mikhailov
Walker - Richard - Smith
