Tennessee goes to 18, Miami to 22. That’s basically a late 3rd round pick in value.

Pretty much. He’s still a former first rounder so Miami also has the first year option to use if he actually turns it around. See if the duo of him and Jackson can be the long term anchor at tackle for them.

must suck to blow a first rounder like that.
Just goes to show a first round pick sounds great but still up to the team to select a good player.

Oh I read it like they swapped 1st round picks. Turns out they swapped 7ths. Those guys should probably be more specific instead of being am scared of being too slow

Swapping 7ths is zero risk. Tennessee must've been on the verge of just cutting him outright.

That is simply remarkable to essentially cut a first round pick less than a year after drafting him. Things must have been very, very wrong so i won't torch the Titans yet. It may well be that cutting their losses early was the best path.

Anyone want to share what went wrong with him?
Pretty much treated getting drafted like moving out of the house and going to college part II. DUI, multiple Covid violations, just couldn't stay in check off the field. Very immature, very questionable he even takes football seriously at all. I would be surprised if he is on the dolphins' 53 by week one.

seems like hes just a total jerkoff.
He got paid his rookie SB already (paid by the Titans) so he made $6.4 million.

As a 1st round pick, he was supposed to get year 2 base salary guaranteed, but apparently his team violations resulted in suspension which voids his guaranteed money per Spotrac. Guy was due $1.1 million in base salary.

He'd be lucky to ever play again in the NFL. No further guaranteed money for him. Pretty much his base salary in the future will be earned game by game.

There's guys they pay in the building to do due diligence and make sure stuff like that never happens. If they're not already, someone involved in that decision is going to be out on the street.

this guy played like 4 games his rookie year and was traded and cut immediately lol

That money will disappear real quick. What a waste of talent.

Flores knew wilson personally because he went to flores' high school and thought he could turn him around, but obviously wilson was not having it.

Wasn't clear on this, I was referring to the Titans. The Dolphins doing this is...whatever, that's nothing. Someone in the Titans building is wearing this though.
