For once, it does look that all the best will be eligible. Cannot see anyone playing in the NHL next season. Will be interesting to see if all those Djurgården players end up in the AHL or will continue playing with DIF. Guessing it could depend on the fact if Djurgården plays SHL or not.

Aside from the ones you listed, I would have the following underagers as outsiders to make the team

- Noah Erliden (-05)
- Tom Willander (-05)
- Anton Wahlberg (-05)
- Felix Nilsson (-05)
- Alfons Freij (-06)
- Alexander Zetterberg (-06)
- Karl Sterner (-06)

...but it could very well end up being only Stenberg and Pellikka-Sandin given the depth of the 04's. I do think a guy like Anton Wahlberg is a perfect fit for a fourth line.

As for Theo Lindstein, he was almost a better player two years ago than he is now. Horrible decision making at times. Interesting to see if he can get back on track or not.

Should be a gold medal for sure.
On paper, Canada and USA (like most years) will be superior. But home ice, no major big names missing ...will mean most people will see Sweden as a favorite, I think.

Sweden should roster the third best team on paper by a pretty wide margin. And it should be much closer up to Can/U.S. than this year IMO.

Sweden won U18 gold with the age group. Here are the teams who won U18 and U20 in the same age group as a main one.

Russia 2001/2003 (1983 borns)
USA 2002/2004 (1984)
Canada 2003/2005 (1985)

Minimize 05s and 06s as much as possible. See Sweden and US. Definetely talent wise as good as their opponents but because they were the younger team they screwed up their leads and lost.

Canada has a chance to add to that list tonight. I think just on paper though you guys and the Americans looks really really strong.

You were under and basically won the quarter against Finland in the last 3 minutes of the game with Lindbom being huge in net.
Lmao! "Screwed up their leads", i haven't seen a better trollposter than you in here.

Home team. Should be a better team.

Leo Carlsson - Filip Bystedt - Alexander Suzdalev
Liam Öhgren - Noah Östlund - Jonathan Lekkerimäki
Oskar Pettersson - Noah Dower Nilsson - Otto Stenberg
Isac Born - Fabian Wagner - Noel Nordh
Rasmus Rudslätt

Calle Odelius - Elias Salomonsson
Elias Pettersson - Axel Sandin Pellikka
Jakob Noren - Mattias Hävelid
Theo Lindstein

Hugo Hävelid
Alexander Hellnemo
Lukas Swedin
That roster looks like Swedens best contender in a while.
Let's see if Hävelid can be just as good as this years goalie. Because he was truly great in both the quarter and the semifinal.

Can’t say I’ll be missing a ton of players from this years roster. Rosén and Lindbom, that’s about it. Next years team will have upgrades on basically every position.

Having a 5’10 starting goalie makes me a bit nervous though. Regardless of previous accomplishments.

Ludvig Jansson was our best player this tournament.

That’s a small D-pair with Noren and Hävelid as a pair.

Hannes Hellberg looks interesting. Good size, averages almost 1 goal per game. Haven’t heard of him before and don’t think he’s been draften. How come? Low ceiling? Dower-Nilsson is the only >2004 that looks interesting among the forwards.
