Ye, like last year svenskhockey got the streaming right just days before the tournament. I hope it will be same this time

Lindstein and Sandin-Pellikka will play together like they did in the Four Nations, I suppose.

I would take Alex Zetterberg instead. 26 points in J20 so far, and he's a 06.

But it would be very interesting and fun if Ekberg made the team as 2 year younger than the rest

Alex Zetterberg logged 1 point in the U17 5 nations tournament this passed week, so probably not an important omission.
Best scorer Hugo Zetterlund however, with five goals in four games would have been interesting to see among the upper age group. But his time will come later, I guess.

Congrats Sweden! Shots 30-24 to Canada, adding the goals makes it 30-32 though, but 0-8? Didn't see that coming. A bit uheard of at any level? Happy not to be in the Canadian locker room. With past IIHF tournaments in mind, wouldn't be surprised if Canada ends up winning the whole tournament.

Huh? Shots on goal were 30-24. That includes goals.

Oh. I have been mistaken this for decades. I always though shots + goals = totals, but see that you are right. I blame lazieness for never bother doing the math. Possibly senility. Did this change or have it always been calculated like this?

Expressen bought the rights for the games except for the potential games that'll be on SVT (semis and onwards).

No one should be suprised anymore, we always get key players injured every tournament, no matter if its u20, u18 or tre kronor. Not sure why.

Swedish d has been fairly impressive so far. Especially the top 3 dogs (S-P, Lindstein, Willander), which is something you rarely see at this level. Not a whole lot of blunders.

Offensively, it is very obvious that guys like Edstrom and Wahlberg has seen a great development this season. Dower Nilsson, on the other hand, is mediocre as always with the national team. Hopefully he gets going soon. Cannot solely rely on Stenberg.

Never been high on Zeb Forsfjäll, but I think he has done quite well. Solid two-way work.

Missed two games in a row now, so curious what people think, how is the 4th line doing? It was a line with players I wouldn't have put on the team, so hope they can keep up. The rest should at least fight well in functioning combinations.

I am excited to see how much Tom Willander will climb on all those draft rankings being posted. Thought he had a superb tournament.

Unger Sörum, Edstrom and Wahlberg should also see their stock rise imo.
The constantly overhyped Dower Nilsson... not so much.

Overall (compared to previous tournaments) best defensive effort I have seen by Sweden at the U18 Worlds. Very few major blunders and most defensemen did look good.

You guys think Anders Eriksen is a good coach ?
Seems like a good coach and he brings the snus.

But swehockey just announced new coaches for 23/24:

Team 16: Nils Ekman
Team 17: Thomas Paananen
Team 18: Johan Rosén
Team 19 & Team 20: Magnus Hävelid
