Went Dorofeyev, but I think York and Tomasino (maybe Brink?) would be solid choices as well. Had Seider lasted one more spot he would have been my pick instead.

(Don’t necessarily agree with the order of the picks before, but in the aggregate, think the boards have done a good job.)

Assuming the first 7 picks go down like we see here, the Oilers could be looking at several kids committed to the NCAA - including 3 from the U.S.

Have to wonder where they have names like Soderstrom, Kaliyev, Broberg, Heinola or Podkolzin.

I want grit and skill on the wing. Lemieux can’t do it by himself. I went with Poulin. I’ve only read about him but he sounds like a nice combination of skill and grit. We need a few guys that can skate check and get their noses dirty.

I really hope the draft doesn’t break like this. Caufield to the Flyers and Seider going at #19 is an awful scenario. If the Rangers ended up with Hughes I think I’d want one of the kids from the Q in this spot but you probably have to go York here. Just need an F and an L to go with him.

BPA the entire draft, regardless of position. York here. I get the argument for Dorofeyev too though.
