Why would Tampa give Nesterov for so cheap? Am I missing something?

edit: I guess he's much worse than I thought.

Soooo there must be more to this.. right?

We needed an upgrade on Barberio/Redmond/Johnston.

Better than one of them? Good deal.

Better than two of them? Great deal.

Better than all of them? Awesome deal.

So at the very least, it's a good deal for us depth wise as he is definitely an upgrade on Johnston.

He can skate, has some decent skill....questionable judgement at times (IMO)

Speaking more from TB's standpoint, as in clearing up cap for moves or just wasn't good enough to be on the team with his cap hit.

If he were better than Barberio it would have been a massive robery from Bergevin

We did a thing!

I'm not a big Nestorov fan, but at that price, who cares. And depth is depth.

Well good luck to Nesterov and even more to the Habs. Hopefully you guys will get more out of him than we did.

If I had only one sentence to describe him he's like a poor man's Marc Andre Bergeron
