That's why you don't target roster players at the TDL when you are selling. I doubt Sakic and Bergevin are debating Ryan Graves, some beat writer seems off track.

It was rumored that the Avs tried to acquire Drouin at last year's draft. But MB wasn't willing to move him then. Maybe things have picked up since?

Maybe. I could see Sakic being more interested in the younger player who also has a history with his star player and is also signed for a longer term than Tatar.

Other than possibly moving guys like Thompson, Kovalchuk, Cousins, and Weal for 3rd-6th round picks though I'm not expecting much from MB the president of no mans land.
