It almost feels like the start of the playoffs tonight, I am so f***ing pumped!!

I'm glad Bones is stressing that the team can't 'relax' thinking that our returnees will make it easy. There's bound to be some rust there and everyone in the lineup will need to be as intense as ever in order for us to beat the Lightning who are on a roll.

I'm calling it btw: I think the Jets acquire bo horvat at the tdl.

Games where you get key players back can be a bit of a trap. The team starts to think "things are going to be easier now" and starts to relax and then gets smoked because they took their foot off the gas. The Jets have to make sure the effort level is there or things could get ugly.

Glad we are playing TB tonight. Far less chance of taking your foot off the gas to a team that has been to the cup finals the last 3 years and winning 2 of them. Even fully healthy we are the underdogs. I’m guessing we will know about final medical clearances after the morning skate as no way you can go into warmup with that many game time decisions.

maybe it's just i dont follow the nhl as close as previous years but TBL just sort of quietly ho hums along to a top-5 team again (via pts%). perhaps some of Boston's incredible season has removed the spot-light from them. not sure. but will be a tough task for the Jets tonight.
