Is McKegg mainly an NHL player now?

Just wondering if this is TB adding depth to cushion an upcoming move, or if they're just looking to bolster the AHL roster.

Columbus has some injuries up front with Matt Calvert and Lukas Sedlak. This is more a temporary depth move than anything. Dalpe will probably be back on waivers in a couple weeks.

No idea why we claimed McKegg, we have several players like him on the roster and in the AHL. I don't think we will be trading that many pieces where we need to hit the waiver wire but I could be wrong.

Probably an "NHL move".

TB moved out Jeremy Morin a couple of days ago because their AHL squad had a surplus of veteran.

Was nice to have Dalpe around for 4C insurance. Can play a bit. Oh well, still have Graovac.

This cost Tampa $41,250, not counting towards the cap, paid to Florida, and
Columbus $15,000, not counting towards the cap, paid to Minnesota.

Dalpe was decent until he got injured. Hope he does well in Columbus.
