only 4 goals and 15 points in 42 games, been playing mostly bottom 6 from what i noticed. Syracuse has been a pretty weak team due to lack of top end prospects like before. would like to see him get a bit more ice time or a cup of coffee with the big boys just as a confidence builder. he probably wont be resigned unless its another 2 way contract

I wasn't entirely comfortable with the signing, myself. Sean Avery was generally pretty popular as a teammate (although he absolutely had some not like him).

If Avery can be the first step to getting, like, RJ Umberger to ride the bus with them, that'd be cool.
