I will be realy surprised If Sweden win this. 4-2 loss or more. For Sweden to win D must be better and Rayholtz need to get going.

Regulation streak still going apparently although no one cares.

Oh. Well, if Sweden plays with the lack of intensity they had last night then this is USA's game to lose.

They (Sweden) lost the game last night in the first 20 minutes by allowing themselves to get behind. They were outcoached by Larionov, and the leaders on Sweden like Broberg, Soderstrom and Raymond did not play like leaders. They need to step it up a notch.

That said, I think this one is another close one. I like Sweden's D better when they show some damn hustle, and I like Sweden's wingers more when Raymond is the one dominating offensive possession instead of Holtz. 5-4 Sweden.

No excuses for team USA, I think they should take this one with at least 3 goal margin today

I wouldn't say that... Spencer Knight gifted them 3 goals.

Sweden losing streak starts tonight.

It's not as cool when you need a qualifier for the streak. They had an incredible run that will never be matched, let's enjoy that and not grasp as irrelevant straws, it waters down what was accomplished.

U.S. is rested and Sweden is feeling lousy.

My prediction (don't worry, other than last night, I'm always wrong)...

U.S. jumps out to a lead (4-1 ish) and holds on for the win.

Sweden plays Finland in the quarters and gets bounced.

I meant it largely due to the tiredness of Sweden, yes and them lacking part of their roster.

Broberg will probably sit this game if he’s hurt in any way. Uphill battle for team Sweden but they usually fight til’ the bitter end.

If they can weather the storm that will no doubt be coming their way in the first 10min, I like their chances.

Hoping for a good start to the new year, with great hockey, no matter the outcome.

Sweden is going to get pumped this game.

Played a long and tough game last night, and that Broberg injury isn't going to help.
