What the Faulk
You'll know when you go
I'm starting to come to the belief that sports fans simply like to revel in the idea someone sucked as opposed to the other team was great.
My take on the game: it was both.
The Panthers' offensive line has been great all year (#2 as ranked by PFF, IIRC). Even if the tackles weren't exactly a strong point, Miller had a day and made the difference. He absolutely earned his MVP.
But when Cam did have time to throw, he missed a few guys, or they dropped balls, or there were some blown calls. Add that with a few bounces (fumbles going the wrong way), and several dropped Manning interceptions (I thought McClain could have had six on the first drive), and you have the game we saw.
The Broncos had 178 yards and 24 points while holding the Panthers to 10. Their defense had to win the game for them, and they did.
