That was a good game for Canada. Scored on the power play and generally controlled Switzerland and won most of the battles at even strength. Cozens was the best player, but Tavares, Tanev, and Parayko all impressed. Switzerland certainly made it an interesting game with its play style.

mostly agree, even though I think the game was pretty even (especially up to the 5min penalty) with lots of back-and-forth. Canada's clinical efficiency on the PP was the decisive factor here. congrats!

Game turning point cannot be anything but the Fiala penalty. 2 goals scored on the major called is the turning point

Was it necessary? Maybe. It wasn't an egregiously bad call. But it could have been less too. Whatever. The games are not played to ultimately be slaved to the correctness of the officiating calls...they're played for our entertainment, and for player's engagement and ability. And we were all definitely entertained. And I doubt any players feel cheated.
