Wish they would just sit him until he's 100% - we're not missing the playoffs and he has not been the same this year and I suspect it's health related.

I can’t say I’m surprised. He will be out until the cap situation is fixed or until playoffs. I can’t wait for Eichel’s debut though. Hopefully he is fully healthy for the playoffs.

There almost surely was pressure on him to play (he didn't even have a good enough season to be selected legitimately in the first place) since the event was in Vegas.
