Probably better off in Switzerland, but why though? Did he have a bad camp or just a change of heart?
Wouldn't necessarily say he had a BAD camp, but wasn't very impressive and the Blues had several better available options. He took a shot at making it in North America and it didn't work out. Can't say I blame him for not wanting to ride the bus in the AHL when he has an opportunity to play in the NLA.

From what I've read, Springfield is pretty stacked so I guess he didn't like his chance after going down there.

Walker - Gaudette - W. Bitten
Maceachern - Peca - Laferriere
Bolduc - Rees - Dickinson
McGing - Callin - Dean
Abramov, Jandric, S. Bitten, Hoelscher, Waskurak

Yep that's a great point. Blues farm system has pretty good depth, and Springfield is even rostering a couple Carolina prospects (Rees + Coglan) since the chicago wolves are a nightmare to affiliate with haha
