Stick Extension

I just bought a Bauer Vapor XX and i absolutely love the feel of the stick. However, just recently i went to cut a few inches off of it (had my dad do it for me since he is better with that stuff) and he cut on the wrong mark and this has now left me with a stick about 3 inches too short. Anybody got any suggestions as to what i can do to add some sort of extension on the stick? The stick itself is hollow some im thinkin something i can insert into there but i dont know what would be best.

Most hockey stores sell wooden butt ends you can insert into the shaft to add some length.

You'll have to cut it to the right length; tell your dad "measure twice, cut once" next time.

Maybe he shaves them down like NHLers do Some of the guys out have them shaved down to like toothpicks

I shave them down a bit more then they usualy are.
