I heard on the radio that after the game during the handshakes he was acting like a toolbox which pissed off a lot of people. They stated that the NHL stint went straight to his skull. Dad tried to have a chat with him and obviously this did not work. No brain ....no pain..

actually he was drafted from Notre Dame Midget so yes it does matter....the only players it doesnt effect are those that are Nhl draft before chl drafted

No, he was drafted by the Devils after playing for the U18 USNDP as you can see via his stats: http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/pdisplay.php?pid=130937

It only effects those players who were playing in the Q (not just drafted) prior to getting drafted by the NHL. If that were the case it would be a huge inconvenience to US players that get taken in later rounds of a CHL draft but never play there and are handcuffed when trying to play in the AHL at 18 or 19.

thats why he couldnt be sent to Albany this year ...rule states that once you are drafted into chl(unless being drafted before hand into nhl-like Djaskin) then you cannot play AHL till your 20 yr old season...only can sign an NHL 1 way contract...look it up

You're right that he couldn't play any AHL games this year but it's only because he was currently with a Q team. Reporting to the team only affects him in this current year but since he didn't report before he was drafted into the NHL, he can "cut ties", in a sense, with his Q club and play for the AHL next year.

And btw Jaskin was selected in the Import draft by Calgary in 2010, a year before his NHL draft and then re-entered the draft in 2012. If he had reported to Calgary in 2011-2012 he - hypothetically - could have played in the AHL this year.

And just to clarify, all ELCs are two-way unless you're a European player between 25-27

His father is now done with the club as well. I think that was well known for a while but just recently became official

Si Matteau évolue avec l'Océanic la saison prochaine, l'Armada recevra des choix de 2e et 3e rondes.
