As much as I think Jack Quinn will be the best of these players, you gotta take a 1C starting up a franchise. Matt Beniers isn't there yet, but I think he's well on his way to becoming a low end 1C that will be great for a new franchise starting off the ground.

This was my thought as well although I think ZW is a great choice too as he is a 25 MPG Dman in the NHL and people are overlooking him because of where he plays.

I'll take the guy who has done something in the NHL. Starting a new franchise, you need a sure thing. Barzal.

TDH I picked Beniers because well...a Franchise did decide to start a franchise with him...
If they were all coming off D+1 years (normalized) I might take Werenski or Barzal but I am not sure I would start a franchise with a $9.6 M Dman or 1 C about to be due a $10M QO
