It's a legitimate question which made me curious as well, the only goalie I could find from that era of Bruins was Joe Junkin and he only played in one game in the 68-69 season. All of Boston's games from 69-70 to 71-72 were played by Johnston and Cheevers. So did one of them get injured briefly and had a benchwarmer who saw no minutes?
Very well. Goaltender John Adams was a spare for the Bruins in 1970 and had his name engraved on the cup, but did not play his first NHL game until the 72-73 season. That's Google for ya! I just looked up the names engraved on the 1970 Cup and scanned for anything that didn't seem to belong.
Really though, this thread is almost a decade old.
Anyway, here's this picture confirming
