I certainly do not.
I will say, I am happy that it seems he's back to being healthy.

Same and I hope he continues to stay healthy but I think bringing him back is one of the dumbest things we could do. There's no good reason other than nostalgia.

Bringing Monahan back to block Zary from a top 9 C spot would be the most flamesy move ever.
I’d also like to see what Pospisil could do at C at some point.

If the Broonz close out Papi tonight, and Van and Dallas prevail, my round 1 will be 8-0.

Starting to think that Vegas first might be a good one
Might want to think harder then.

They only finished as low as they did because of injuries, if they were in the Pacific bracket they're likely moving on. They're top 3 players all missed about a quarter of the season.

They also have about 7.5m to spend and only need to sign 3 forwards and only 1 needs to be a top 9 forward. They'll have full years of Hertl and Hanifin.

If they stay healthy next year, they'll win the division and challenge for the President's trophy.

We are all Canucks

for the next two weeks
Yes, so we cash in that 3rd instead of 4th in 2024 (Lindholm), plus hopefully Vegas pull through tomorrow- would be 2nd instead of 3rd (Hanifin). Hanifin's trade look like a disaster compared to Lindy's deal. He has been so key to their PO hopes...

Am overseas and aren’t watching the playoffs anymore, but I had dreams about this game and they were all 3-2 bruins wins.

Woke up not long ago. Not a single fibre in me expected to see a leaf win. Not surprised at all they lost… again

Okay slight lie on the above, am catching a bit of the canes game since we’ve crashed for the night. Might end it soon if the game continues as it has so far lol.

I know I'm supposed to cheer Vegas to upg that pick but I'm cheering Dallas instead cause I like their team more. We can always get that other pick if dallas makes the final.
Also, go Tanev.

Kind of think I want Vegas to win just from a "sure thing" standpoint.

The fact that I may benefit monetarily if they do win, is irrelevant.

Your stance makes far more sense. Sure thing and a better pick anyway. I just like Dallas' roster and play style. 3 yrs of LTIR finessing is enough as well out of Vegas. They got their cup. They can suffer for 20 yrs now.

All 4 remaining series should be fantastic.

Vegas' future is not bright. They have the core of reliable vets that the Stars have but there is no help on the way. They have a 1st, 6th, and two 7ths in this draft and no 1sts in '25 or '26.

They looked old and slow against the Stars. Mark Stone at 9.5 and Pietro at 8.8 for 3 more years is ugly.

Chris Tanev, team leading +6 with 23 mins of ice time. Now that's a quality defenseman

Vegas's LTIR finessing this season is MASSIVELY overblown, if not outright fabricated. They are 8.74m over the cap, $5m of that is Lehner and another 3.9m are players (black aces) that wouldn't be on a 23 man roster.

Who do you guys want to lose more between Edmonton and Vancouver?

Side note: at least it's not the finals. I'm a Mets fan, and the 2009 World Series between the Yankees and Phillies was agonizing.

So 1st, 3rd and Miromanov for Hanifin in the end. Very one sided trade, shame they couldn't beat Dallas but it served them well, cheaters...

This Vancouver team could win the cup and it wouldn’t really move the needle for me. 2011 on the other hand…
