I'd have no issue with either of those choices.

I think Raftis is going to have to decide early on what his two year plan is. Whoever is going to try to be dealt by the deadline this year may determine who gets letters.

It's easy, we have no picks over the next 3 years.

Wow, charron decommitted? That's fantastic. Hopefully the hounds are in his plans. He's a big, skilled kid. Was very noticeable at camp last year as an 07.

Brown also might be in the mix on the left side if Martin grabs a T6 spot.

Gojhl league site has 6'1, 175.

Pretty big for a 16 year old that is still growing

I was thinking Cali could move from C to LW as well. I'm excited for camp to see what our 07's and 08's look like together. Personally I'd have Martin in the top 6 at the beginning of the year, but definitely by the end, especially if he's wearing the C

Very evident we need to move some assets next season or at trade deadline to build draft picks back-up.

Will be interesting to see how Mr. Raftis performs.

Probably need to move out 3 significant bodies just to recoup enough to get back to neutral picks, based on average returns.

Even if he does, i'm not sure we have the studs to do it. originally, i wanted to keep Mignosa and Cloutier as OAs...but after we sell gibby, allard (maybe) and Charlie (maybe), there's not much left that would warrant a big return.

like Pops said, that would likely just get us back on par. not add to the chest.

unless we can hit big on an import that would net us something.

I think Carlisle has possibly the most trade value of any returning 04.

Yes, this is close to what I figured too. I think Gibson will be the only 05 moved, so moving a couple OAs would be required to get more or less back to neutral.

I think younger players develop better seeing good vets taking on the biggest challenges, so personally not a fan of massive sells if avoidable. I'd keep Carlise if trading Gibson, and probably trade just one of Allard or Mignosa.
