All prospects who fit the HF prospect criteria are included.

ELIGIBILITY

-If signed out of Europe or the NCAA at age 22 or older, fewer than 65 (skaters) or 45 (goalies) NHL games within three years of signing.

RULES
Each poll runs 24 hours and is public. Vote for your choice and nominate a prospect from the list below to replace that player on the subsequent poll.

If there is a tie in the Top 10, there will be a run-off and the losing prospect will be returned to the pool for the next vote. Outside the Top 10, the tie will hold, the two highest Adds will be added and we'll move on.

I personally don’t consider him a true prospect, but this is where I’d put Antipin.

By the letter of the law Antipin is a prospect - I think he’s shown enough to be an NHL regular (he’ll likely be signed somewhere else if Buffalo doesn’t bring him back). Being an NHL regular is a big weight for me.

Ullmark > Antipin.

Dont think theres a whole lot more room for growth in Antipin's game. He caps out at a #4 D for me

I've never really been too high on Ullmark. Looked great that one game up with the Sabres a while back, but hasn't sustained a lot of success since his hip(?) injury a few years back. I don't think he has any particular special factor that makes him irreplaceable, other than being the only hope for a home grown goalie for the forseeable future. At this point I really am not expecting him to look any better with the sabres over longer sample sizes than Lehner or Johnson. I think over the short term, we'd be better served looking at UFA or trades for a starter. Carter Hutton or Antii Raanta as affordable UFA's maybe, with Ullmark as backup? More to the point, if someone told me I could trade Ullmark right now straight up for a middle pairing dman, I'd do it without much hesitation. So if Antipin's ceiling is believed to be a #4 (and he's probably closer to that already than housley believes he is. at least on this team he should be...) then I've abolutely got antipin > Ullmark.

Interesting to see how THN has the Sabres top 10 ranked. 3-6 is Asplund, Guhle, Davidsson, UPL.
