I know. I'm hoping for a swerve.

They're putting the white and black 'symbiote suit' logo front and center. Maybe I'm reading in too much, but if you're going to do that, the symbiote has to end up on Peter at SOME POINT in this Venom story. Otherwise how the hell does Venom get a spiderman symbol on his chest?

The movies basically skipped the question entirely by taking the symbol off his chest, since Spider-man isn't even in the movies. But Spiderman is obviously in this game, so no reason to undermine the whole damn origin of the character the same way.

If the suit is going to get off Harry and onto Peter, nothing says it has to go back to Harry after that.

The end of Miles Morales also showed Curt Connors, so I wonder if we get Lizard. But, the voiceover didn't sound like Harry Osbourne. I went into this expecting a Spider-man 2 likely with both Spiderman's and Venom. I feel the real mic drop moment for them was the Wolverine reveal.

Edit: Apparently the voiceover in that is Kraven the Hunter.
