finally watched it. went in expecting it to be bad. thought it was fantastic
I watched this again this weekend and realized I'd missed a couple nods to the old Lando novels the first time around. I'd still probably put it at the bottom of the new films, but it was still pretty solid for all the production trouble the film had. Ehrenreich and Glover were both believable in their respective roles. And I'm happy Witwer got into the film voicing Maul. It felt right given how much he's voiced him in Clone Wars and Rebels. I do wonder if Filoni didn't suggest putting him in, since it was apparently a last minute thing who would fill the big boss role.
I like Darth Maul but I hate that they brought a character that they literally cut in half back to life.
Invent a new cool character.
they didnt bring him back to life.
Right, they pretended he wasn't dead after being cleaved in half and falling down an air shaft.
Just lazy writing is all.
I suggest watching Clone Wars or Rebels then. lets not act like Solo is his first reappearance

I get he's got the Force and Anakin was cut up too, but personally I think they should just let people die sometimes.
I think Solo depicts earlier events in timeline to that movie where he gets slicep up.
That would mean Han Solo is older than Darth Vader.
It's just been released on blu-ray so probably not soon. Use torrents, you n00b.
Close in age. Han would be like 8 years younger than him when Vader died in Return of the Jedi. That would mean Han Solo is older than Darth Vader.
I can't help but wonder if this movie would have done better if Disney waited until December to release it in theaters.
