Suzuki and Caufield show already that they are 1st line players. Over 65 games, they are on PPG season pace.

Slafkovsky 18 years old have 8 points in 21 games (not over yet) so far in his rookie season.
Dach 21 years old have 19 points in 26 games so far and he play really solid with Suzuki and Caufield.

Do you think they have both 1st line potential? Or more top 6 players.

Don’t see Dach as a real first liner. More than likely a 2C or top six winger who can play some first line minutes. He’d really have to show me more than he has so far seeing as how he is on his 3rd year (4th but was badly injured one year). He got off to a hot start but it doesn’t look like it’s going to last with 3 assists in his last 10 games. My initial projection was much higher but he never proved me right. Hopefully he proves me wrong now.

Too early to say anything negative about slaf’s potential so I’m going to say sure why not?

It would be pretty crazy to take someone 1st overall if you didn’t think they had the potential to be a top-line player
