Was a 6/7D in Van. Smaller guy but very courageous fighter. Good skater & can move the puck/defend, has some grit. Faired well at times in larger roles.

Fan favourite here (local kid), will be fine in an everyday role & teammates will love him.

Happy to see Burr get some security

He should be head and shoulders above most, if not all, of your other 6/7 guys.

He does everything well enough to stay in the line up, but his physicality is the only thing that stands out as a clear strength.

I'm upset we didn't offer him this contract, but I'm glad he got it.

Exactly. This is the advantage a team like San Jose has over some other teams (if you wanna call it that). They can sign guys at higher term and less money because their ahl team plays in the same city, which is attractive to fringe players who want some security.

Smaller guy, but very gritty. Will miss him in Van.
