    a clause that prevent team like detroit and toronto to say, ok i will sign the 25 year old top ufa for 2$/m year but, under the table give an 50$m signature bonus is added to the new cba?

    One would think that somewhere in that bran spankin’ new 600 page CBA this has been covered.

    Perhaps on page 2 or 3, in the definition section under "Compensation" or "Player Compensation" or whatever term they decided on?
