They would never pick for 4 goalies. It's pain to carry 3 goalies, 4 is just insane. And who would wanna trade one of them if they know that they could pick one of them from waivers.

How bout Lucic from the Flames? He waved his no trade claus for the expansion draft. I'd still probably take Kylington though as he's younger and still has a lot of potential.

That's so the Flames can protect somebody else. The Kraken aren't taking Lucic unless the Flames gave them something (player or picks) to do so.

With Bishop (hopefully) returning from missing the entire season, and Oettinger developing well, I would HOPE that Seattle takes a long look at Khudobin.......but he's been kinda sorta not good this season, so they may look elsewhere amongst Dallas's list of unprotected players.

Some of these seem highly unlikely - and it's 69m with 8 RFAs.
I don't think Benson even qualifies. Isles lose Bellows yet keep all their D without giving up an asset?...

Exposing Johansen seems ridiculous, even if he does make 8m. Vancouver is desperate to shed cap, so doing them a favor with Holtby is another head scratcher.

Well, at least not those four anyways. Vegas was down to their 5th stringer at one point I believe. Picking a couple solid young goalies for the farm team isn't a bad idea.

That’s too many D. I suspect they will take a few more forwards or trade the D for picks or forward.

In what way is McCann comparable to Theodore?
In the way Pittsburgh would be giving up a more valuable player to protect a less valuable older player (Manson/Zucker). Agree that it is much less clear the value between Zucker and McCann vs Manson and Theodore.

Allen held back STL from every going anywhere. MON in some bizarre way traded for him and he's mediocre there too. Third times a charm? or he's just a meh goalie.

I doubt they take Kerfoot from Toronto. At that cap hit for a 3C they would be helping the Leafs more then hurting them. If they do then I would be pretty happy; the team could use the money on re-signing Hyman. I would think they instead take Dermott because he is affordable and still has some untapped upside.
