I know there used to be a eliteserien all star game, when was the last time it happened? Why does it stopped? What would be your Swedish All Star vs Non-swedish All Star team for this season?

I think there should be some all-star game(or at least skills competition) in every big league. I think it adds some more fun to the season. Perhaps even have one in smaller leagues in Europe, the French, British, Danish, Norwegian etc. Adds more fun to those leagues too.

Had no idea there used to be one in Swedish league before. And it's a shame to find out they dropped it.

Farjestad BK played in the AHL All-Star Game this year. I guess that’s the closest to all star game SHL is going to have this season. I was wondering how big of deal was it in Sweden to have a team go to NA to play?

I remember Mats Lusth getting the only penalty in one of the All Star games.

A all star game tho ..is pointless and just boring.

First time I heard about it was on this website. Had no idea it had already been played. (Not that I cared or planned to watch it, but it kinda shows how much attention it got: none).
