I have never run a marathon, but this feels like mile 22 when you're bonking and your feet hurt and the only thing keeping you going is the fact that it might hurt more if you stopped and you just have to get to that worst place finish line.

Eklund's been playing like a 4th liner the second half of the season so I'm not surprised. You can keep blaming his line mates but he's been below average to past couple months in both zones.

I get that Eklund hasn't done much the last five games but you just scratched Barabanov and Zadina hasn't done anything in the last four games. Neither of them have the future Eklund does. I suspect it's only to start and if he looks alright he'll get moved up pretty quickly but let him play through it when the season is about development for Eklund and not much else.
