San Jose, California - The San Jose Sharks have announced that one of their servers has been hacked so their prominence on the HFBoards may or may not be hindered because of this. The inability of the internet to perform could not come at a more inopportune time as the team was trying to make an announcement regarding one of their top defenseman. The Sharks have tried to re-sign Jaroslav Spacek, as he was one of the better defenseman on the core this year, but this did not work out. Jaroslav has stated he does not expect to return to the Sharks unless the deal was absolutely a no brainer, the Sharks do not see the future enabling them to spend this kind of money on Spacek. This turn of events has brought management to begin to shop him around the league because he will be a UFA at the end of the year. The Sharks would prefer to trade him to a Eastern conference team, although it does not rule out a Western conference team. The Sharks would love to re-sign the stellar defenseman but with the trade deadline coming up we are going to explore our options. Any trade request will need to involve a defenseman with a somewhat close to equivalent OV rating as the Sharks are looking to make a run for Lord Stanley. All inquiries can be sent to [email protected].

Rumours out of San Jose are suggesting that there is a very interested team and a deal could be done shortly for the high profile D-man. It is unsure who will be involved.
