Frankly I feel it was a misstep, the Devil Rays name/jersey/logo was awesome.
EDIT: It's been fifteen years since they rebranded as the "Tampa Bay Rays". Damn, time flies, eh?
after pitching for tampa i'm real shocked that morton, snell, and eovaldi are still in the league pitching effectively.
