what's your thoughts on this prospect? i'd like to have your opinions. can he become a great nhl player or he will likely never crash the nhl.

I think he's got definite potential to crack the top 2 lines in Pittsburgh, just not right now. Maybe 2 years from now. If I remember correctly, he's supposed to have great chemistry with Malkin.

Apparently he's fast, is an above average stickhandler, and has a good shot. I've heard his hockey sense isn't the best.

He had a pretty good 23 games with Salavat Yulayev in the RSL, putting up 9 goals. This is after he got moved from CSKA Moscow.

Other Pens fans or Russian fans probably know more about him than me.
