If the Carolina game was the biggest game of the season, does this mean that this Jets game is the NEW biggest game of the season?

If so, we need to start our studs: Mark Frasier, Boro, Cowen, Kostka, Neil, McCormick, Greening, Smith, O'Dell, ... we need to be all-in.

Added roster to OP.

I thought Puemps was injured? I've been out of the loop for a few days though..

Edit: Dang it, Bonk  My turtle speed copy-pasting got me.

...looking forward to seeing more Prince, and leaner meaner Neiller. Also Nick Ehlers for Jets.

Love that Michalek-Pageau-Ryan line.

Prince playing with grinders. :shakehead

Let the kid do his thing with some scorers, or even Lazar.

Not stoked on the lines, but what can you do. We're not at the point of icing our full-time roster. Price has already shown he can score anyway. It's Puempel that needs to prove himself right now. I'd expect a little bit of line juggling anyway. Mickle is right, preseason games can become a gong show in a hurry, it's not a bad thing to have a sheriff or two out there.

Ottawa
MacArthur-Turris-Stone
Michalek-Pageau-Ryan
Puempel-Lazar-Prince
Smith -O'Dell-Stortini

Would love to see these lines, modified from above post... Not sure the Sens want to see Lazar at C, but I would love to see a line up with Puempel/Lazar/Prince... young, fast, energy... gives Prince a chance to play with (somewhat) more gifted line mates.

I'm also not a Smith fan as much these days, so putting him with the other hands-like-feet guys on the 4th allows him to just go out there and bang bodies.

Puempel-Smith-Lazar is pretty useless too. Zero playmaking on that line.

except puempel and lazar showed some chemistry at last year's camp. course smith in the middle does kind of wreck things. put pageau there and you probably have something

Why is Claesson still here? He's been invisible.

Because when camp rolls around, some guys get opportunities based on the last 2-3 years that aren't tainted by 2-3 early pre-season games that are typically poor representations of real NHL games.

They tend to know which rookies will still be around at the end of camp, somewhat regardless of how their opening games went. Some of these guys need to be seen after a few games in and with the NHL talent more in line with the actual they have proven to be ready or near ready for.

A guy like Claesson is fully expected to be a first call up this year regardless of how his first couple games of the preseason went.

We traded for Price? And he is playing as a forward? :amazed:
