What is the thesis on?

Full version. It feels kind of weird to submit one big piece of work that is essentially the culmination of what I've been working on for the last 3 years.

In a nutshell, it's on the geomorphological history of how these big ice-rich "hills" or permafrost mounds called lithalsas formed outside of Yellowknife, and infrastructure problems they cause to Highway 3 (which runs from Edmonton to Yellowknife). No one knew these things were full of ice until 3 years ago when I was doing my undergrad up there, and they couldn't figure out why the road was subsiding.

So basically I study ice and dirt.
