Look at all the teams in front of us. So much young talent on all those rosters while we have Burrows and Thompson on our top two lines because "the best players play". Other than whatever icetime Harpur and Chabot are getting, we have no regulars drafted after 2012.

How exactly do we expect to improve as a team with a worse version of last year's roster and not let kids actually play? If you're going to suck, at least make it intriguing.

Random thought, but I wish HNIC would consider having one game involving a Canadian team at 7 and another at 730. That way we could see more hockey rather than both games, or all 3 games being at intermission at the same time.
